Cameron was born and raised in the Hudson Valley and is a proud graduate of Rondout Valley High School in Ulster County.  He went on to get his BA in Communications at  SUNY Oneonta, home of the Red Dragons.  It was in college that he worked his first radio news beats at WECW in Elmira and WONY in Oneonta.  After graduation our intrepid reporter went on to work at stations in:  Sacramento, Cincinnati, Dallas and Tampa.  Cameron returned to the Hudson Valley in 1994 and has worked at WKIP since 2001.
