(Albany, NY) -- New York lawmakers are returning to Albany this week from winter break Legislators return Wednesday to start their 2019 session.
There are a lot of important issues for them to consider including ethics reform, universal healthcare, recreational marijuana and more gun control regulations. The governor has said he'd like to see progress within the first 100 days of this new legislative session. Democrats now control the Assembly, Senate and Governor's office for the first time in a decade.
