(Kent, NY) -- A tractor-trailer collided with a car on Interstate 84 eastbound early this morning near Exit 17.
The tractor-trailer was consumed by fire. The crash closed down for hours the eastbound lanes as police investigated what took place. Traffic was detoured off the interstate onto local roads and allowed back on at Exit 18.
The crash caused a massive traffic jam, as traffic backed up for miles.
