Investigation Into Utility's Storm Response

(Albany, NY) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo is launching an investigation into New York utility's efforts during the recent nor'easters.

The governor notified the state's major utility companies they will be investigated for preparedness and responses to the two recent nor'easters. Almost 600-thousand homes and businesses lost power during the storms, some for as long as ten days. Cuomo says it's clear some utilities failed to meet customer's needs.
