The first snow storm of 2018 is now hitting the Mid-Hudson with bands of precipitation and wind gusts topping 40 miles per hour. Most schools in Dutchess and Ulster counties cancelled classes for the day.
The worst of the storm should be out of the area before 5pm. Hudsonvalleyweather.com predicts behind this storm, that there will be brutal dangerous cold weather that will freeze over everything. Wind Chill values between -10° and -35° are expected from tonight through Saturday.
