New Year’s revelers who have had too much to drink can get a free cab ride in Orange, Sullivan and Rockland counties. Dana Distributors in Goshen is once again sponsoring the Alert Cab safe-rides program. Dana Distributors is a major wholesaler of Budweiser products in the 3 counties.
Bar customers who call can get a free taxi ride home within a ten mile range. The program will be in effect on New Year’s Eve starting at 4pm and ends early New Year’s morning.
The Dana and English families also present the Dana Distributors Recognition Award each year. This year the award goes to Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus. The award is presented for his efforts to combat impaired driving.
