(Rock Hill, NY) -- The new Empire Resorts casino in Sullivan County will open two weeks early.
The "Times Herald-Record" reports that the 920-million-dollar Resorts World Catskills casino and hotel will open in the middle of February, when East Asian Lunar New Year celebrations are in full swing. The five-star resort in Rock Hill aims to attract Asian visitors, with games that are popular in the Far East. Empire Resorts, which had planned to open the casino on March 1st, is still looking to fill hundreds of positions.
