(New York, NY) -- Amazon plans to hire more than 120-thousand workers for the holiday season.
The online retail giant said yesterday it will add staff at fulfillment centers, sorting facilities, and customer service sites in more than 30 states. Amazon says while many of the jobs will be temporary, it will offer permanent positions to some seasonal workers.
The holiday staffing ramp-up continues a hiring spree for Amazon. In August, the company held a one-day job fair with a goal of hiring as many as 50-thousand workers.
