A Poughkeepsie man was rushed to Albany Medical Center after suffering severe head injuries early yesterday morning when his vehicle went off of Route 9G, down an embankment and then struck a tree.
He was traveling northbound in a 2005 Ford Five Hundred when the accident happened. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office says 25 year old Andre Irving was entrapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle. Greenport Rescue Squad, Greenport Fire Department and the Germantown Fire Department assisted at the scene.
