$3 A Gallon For Gas

Gasoline prices in the Hudson Valley are rising following Hurricane Harvey.

The storm caused some of the oil refineries in the Gulf Coast to be temporarily shut down. Triple-A says the national average has gone up 27-cents in the last week to two-dollars-and-64-cents.  There is some concern that Hurricane Irma could extend some of the oil production disruptions.

According to Gasbuddy some gas stations in Dutchess County are now charging nearly three-dollars for a gallon of regular.
