A major recruitment campaign is continuing for qualified applicants who are interested in becoming New York State Troopers.
The selected applicants will then take the trooper examination which will be offered in October in Dutchess and Orange counties and other locations across the state. Some of the specialized areas with open positions include: Crime Scene Evidence Technicians; Field Training Officers; K-9 Handlers; Firearms Instructors and Motor Vehicle Collision Reconstructionists.
