Assemblyman Lalor Pushes First Time Home Owners Bill

The First Time Home Savings Bill is an effort to support home ownership in New York.  Dutchess Assemblyman Kieran Michael Lalor is urging the Governor to sign the bill once it arrives on his desk.

The bill which was passed by both the State Assembly and State Senate creates a state tax deduction on special savings accounts set up by first time home buyers.  Assemblyman Lalor says he is concerned that the rate of home ownership in the U.S. has been dropping.
