State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested 29 year old Rocco Cardascia of Poughkeepsie and 27 year old Casey Owen of Mamaroneck in connection with a theft from a Wappinger jewelry store.
Both subjects were charged with Burglary in the Third Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, all Class D Felonies. State Police say their investigation revealed that Cardascia and Owen were responsible for the burglary where over $9,000 worth of jewelry was stolen in October of 2016.
“The New York State Police were assisted by the Town of East Fishkill Police Department, the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department, and the Village of Fishkill Police Department.”
