I Always Enjoyed "Mission Impossible"

On this morning’s show I talked about the death of actor Martin Landau.

The actor known for his roles in "North by Northwest" and "Ed Wood" died Saturday after suffering complications during a short hospital stay at UCLA Medical Center.  He was 89-years-old.

Andalee played the theme from “Mission: Impossible" for us this morning because I always enjoyed Landau’s performance in that TV adventure series.  There is also somewhat of a Poughkeepsie connection; Landau earned the Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 1994 for his role as Bela Lugosi in the movie "Ed Wood."  Ed Wood was originally from Poughkeepsie and went on to be an actor, director and screenwriter for many low budget movies.

Rest in Peace Martin Landau.
