The lawsuits filed against President Trump by the attorneys general of Maryland and Washington, DC are ridiculous. I believe the two Democrats are making nuisance filings that are just meant to slow the President down.
President Trump is not violating any provisions of the Constitution's emoluments clause against self-dealing. The lawsuit from the attorneys general alleges that the President has continued accepting payments from foreign entities through his businesses. At the end of the day I am sure they will find no provisions of the Constitution are being violated.
