(New York, NY) -- The number of Americans traveling by car this Memorial Day is expected to hit a 12-year-high.
Triple A says there will be more travelers on the road during this year's Memorial Day weekend because of low gas prices and a growing economy. AAA expects over 34-million Americans will drive 50 miles or more during the holiday weekend, which for many starts on Thursday, May 25th. Memorial Day is Monday the 29th.
