Orange County Goes After Opioid Drug Makers

(Orange Co., NY) -- Orange County is trying to hold drug makers accountable for the opioid crisis. 

Orange County became the fourth county in New York to sue some pharmaceutical companies that make drugs like oxycontin and fentanyl. The suit says the companies engaged in fraudulent and aggressive marketing of the drugs.  Four doctors are also named in the lawsuit. A New York City law firm is representing Orange, and the other counties.
