Happy Arbor Day. I love trees and I have a big variety on my property in Pleasant Valley.
If you haven’t had a chance to plant a tree today, there are a couple of opportunities ahead. Volunteers are needed for a Village wide tree planting in Rhinebeck tomorrow. It begins at 9am at Hobson’s Appliances, bring your own tools.
Then on Wednesday volunteers are needed at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie for a project to plant native trees along Casper Creek from 3 to 6pm. Interested volunteers should contact Alistair Hill by email alihall@vassar.edu to sign-up, or to gain more details about this event.
