Tax Deadline Looms

New York taxpayers who haven't filed their 2016 returns still have until tomorrow.

The usual tax deadline of April 15th fell on a Saturday this year, which pushed it back a couple of days. But because Emancipation Day is being observed today, that moved the tax deadline to April 18th this year.

That means returns must be filed electronically or postmarked in the mail by tomorrow or an extension can be requested.
