(Albany, NY) -- Ridesharing apps like Uber and Lyft may soon be available in Dutchess and Ulster counties.
Approved as part of the state budget process, the ridesharing measure allows every upstate county to decide individually if they want to approve or opt out of allowing the apps. The soonest that ridesharing apps could roll out is in July.
