Governor Andrew Cuomo stopped in Dutchess County yesterday bringing some state resources with him to help with the blizzard cleanup. State Department of Transportation workers and about 100 National Guard personnel are helping to remove snow in Poughkeepsie and Beacon.
In Poughkeepsie much of the work is being done along the eastbound and westbound arterial. Snow is being placed into large dump trucks for removal from city streets.
