Central Hudson says they have a field crew of 300 workers responding to outages around the region.
The blizzard has knocked nearly 10,000 customers off the grid with most of the outages in Ulster County. Many customers in Shokan, Bearsville, Krumville and Eddyville are without electricity. In Dutchess County several customers in Fairview lost power.
Central Hudson says they are working as quickly as possible to restore power. The Utility says they experienced several service interruptions as a result of motor vehicle accidents.
